Industrial Injuries

An industrial accident occurs when people are at work. The Workman's Compensation Statutes exist in order to compensate victims of industrial accidents. Some accidents occur because of unsafe working conditions. When an employer does not fix a problem that they know poses a risk to the employees they can be held responsible for the resulting injuries and fatalities. Industrial accidents can be attributed to defective machinery as well and the same liability exists to the employer if they fail to provide safe conditions for the employees.
